INTRODUCTION

The Bauchi State Agricultural Development Programme (BSADP) was established in 1981, following the success of the enclave Gombe Agricultural Development Programme.

The main objective of BSADP is to serve as an avenue for the speedy implementation of agricultural projects directed towards increase food production and improvement in the farm income of rural populace with reduced normal civil service bureaucracy and strengthen the supply of trained manpower.

The ADP is the extension arm of the Ministry of Agriculture which specifically strengthens adoptive research, actualize the unification of extension services and develop rural infrastructure.
